It doesn’t matter how much skill you have if you can’t come up with the creative juices when necessary. Where do ideas come from? Who knows, right?! But one thing is for sure, we have to constantly feed our creative mind and train it to be ready to come up with ideas and “looks” for our films.
There are so many avenues one can look to for inspiration and one topic that I have found repeat itself multiple times when talking to top filmmakers on the Big League Film School blog and our CineSummits is that they study and spend time visiting resources so that they can have a bank of inspiration they can pull from.
They visit these resources time and again when they need to develop a concept and begin to create a new idea. Check out the video below to get an insight to a few of the go to place Adam Patch has shared with me as his go to websites to get his creative juices going.
